TCA "What could go wrong? - How to deal with meestaeks in Erasmus+ projects"
24-30.03.2019 in Budapest, Hungary

"A person who never made a mistake, never tried anything new."  - Albert Einstien
"We all make them, the difference is what we do after we make the mistake, how we see the mistake - a learning experience or a failure." - Catherine Pulsifer

“ To err is human.” We are not our mistakes, but we are defined by how we respond to them. They are our pathway for learning. The secret is to accept and recognize them,  face them and try to transfer the mistakes into a successful story. Every mistake can be seen as an opportunity.
The 5 days training course "What could go wrong? - How to deal with meestaeks in Erasmus+ projects?" was organized by the Tempus Public Foundation - Erasmus+ Hungarian National Agency and it brought together 28 participants from 14 countries in the period 24-30.03.2019 in Budapest, Hungary. Our trainers during the course were Anita Silva (Portugal) and Kiss Gergely (Hungary).
The overall aim and specific objectives of the training were:
  • to identify the most common mistakes in E+ projects during preparation, implementation and follow-up phases;
  • to find the practices that prevent difficult situations in E+ projects and increase the chances of obtaining good results;
  •  to acknowledge that mistakes are part of the natural learning cycle and we can learn from them on a personal level;
  • to discover strategies and management techniques to deal constructively with mistakes in E+ projects at organizational level.
It was based on collaborative sessions that look specifically at mistakes in youth projects and seek for ways to prevent/deal with them. We explored mistakes in diverse ways such as Improvisation Techniques and Theater, Clowning, Creative Writing and others. It was an amazing experience with fruitful activities and a great place for networking.
